Big Data

Big data is data with considerable diversity, coming in growing quantities and at a faster rate.

This is referred to as the three V's. 

Simply said, big data refers to more extensive, more complicated data collection, mainly from novel data sources. These data sets are so extensive that conventional data processing software cannot handle them. However, these vast quantities of data may be used to solve business challenges that were previously insurmountable.

The volume of data is essential. With big data, you will be required to analyze large quantities of low-density, unstructured data. This may include Twitter data feeds, clickstreams on a website or mobile application, and sensor-enabled equipment. This might be tens of gigabytes of data for certain corporations. It may be hundreds of petabytes for others. 


The pace at which data is received and (potentially) acted upon. Typically, the maximum data transfer rate occurs straight into memory instead of being written to disk. Some internet-enabled intelligent goods function in or close to real-time, necessitating real-time assessment and response. 


Variety refers to the several sorts of accessible data. In a relational database, traditional data kinds were organized and easily accommodated. With the growth of big data, new unstructured data kinds have emerged. Text, audio, and video are unstructured and semi-structured data formats that need further preprocessing to derive meaning and provide information.
